This would hardly qualify as a "recent" architectural photo, but given the interest in the more recent photo taken from the top of this ramp, I thought I should add this ever-popular classic from 2005. This is the circular ramp at the Ottawa Train Station, which takes passengers from up to the main station from the platforms. Unfortunately, VIA Rail has now placed a large blue sign right in the middle, destroying the architectural clarity of the piece.
